Sefrou is appreciated for its waterfalls, its diverse landscapes that can be admired from the shrine of Sidi Ali Bousserghine. Sefrou is now an important agricultural center which shows the richness of its products during the cherry festival in June,A few miles by a road that climbs in the middle of olive groves.
BHALILThis curious village is 5 km from Sefrou. It contains a number of troglodyte houses (cave dwellings) built into the picturesque mountain-side and painted in pastel hues of pink, yellow and blue. There aren't too many of them left now, but you can step into one of them. The cave houses in Bhalil stand next to ordinary "over-ground" houses, and there is no other difference between them than practical ones. Digging into the cave allows good conditions for keeping a home cool in summer and keeping the worst cold out in winter
