In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel or Riad and start the tour of the medina ramparts (2 hours). First, you will visit Fes El Jadid (14th century section), the Jewish quarter (Mellah) and the famous gates of the royal palace. Then, we continue to the Borj Nord for a panoramic view and end your outside tour in the pottery section, where you will see the artisans making mosaics and tiles.
Later, with your guide you will explore the old medina called Fes El Bali (9th century section). You will visit one of the famous Medersas (Quranic school) of the 14th century, the quaraouiyine university (the oldest university in the world), the seffarine (bronze) section , the Najjarine (Carpenters) Souk, the Nejjarine Fountain and Fondouk / museum, and the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II, the founder of Fez. Then, you will visit the tanneries ( the leather place) and enjoy lunch in a Moroccan restaurant. If you wish, You can continue the tour for more exploration of the medina.
Early Pick up from your hotel in Fes and drive to the south of Morocco and enjoy the best scenery of the country. You will have a stop in Ifrane, known as Moroccan switzerland to enjoy its beauty.
After that you will head toward Azrou to see the cedar forest, where you can enjoy playing with monkeys. Continue to Midelt for a lunch meal in a local restaurant. Then we cross the pass of TIZI N TALGHAMT to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges and valley. The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Erfoud,which is famous for its fossils and the festival of dates.
After that you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi. Arriving to the camp and being welcomed with a berber mint tea, camels are waiting for you. So, be ready for an hour camel trek in the silence of the desert and enjoy the sunset. Dinner is served under a Berber tent with Berber drums music.
After breakfast in hotel, depart through the Dades Valley to Kalaa M'Gouna, the city which celebrates the Festival of Roses, and continue to Ouarzazate (Moroccan Hollywood). There you can visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO World Heritage site). Continue to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains.
Day 4: MarrakechIn the morning, we will pick you from your hotel for a Marrakech sightseeing tour.
Jemaa El Fna square: It is a UNESCO site and one of the famous squares in the world. you will see many story tellers, snake charmers, musicians and water sellers mostly in the morning. In the afternoon, the square gets full with food stalls with different kind of Moroccan food. Around the sunset, it is amazing to go for a drink in one of the Cafe terraces overlooking the Jemaa Fna square that gets illuminated by the lamplights and panels with the number or names of stall owners.
Next, a nice walk in the souks and Medina alleyways to explore how talented Marrakechi handcrafters are. See how hard and proud they work to make objects as they their ancestors have, from metal such as lamps, from wool skin such as leather bags...Etc
Later, you will explore with your guide the main Marrakech Landmarks: Bahia and Badi palaces , Majorelle & Menara gardens, Ben Youssef Madrasa, Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia mosque,Marrakech Museum...Etc.
